Once you decide to answer the call of God, know that the battle at times will not have everyone or anyone fighting for you. You must rely on God so he can get all the glory.

We have people in our lives to help us with many different things, but who do you have that is going to stand with you in prayer consistently until the enemy is defeated. Note the battle in this scripture might have been a day but what happens when what you are fighting last for three years.

Your last breath being the first moment of eternity and what words will greet you at the pearly gates?

Many times, we say all things work for good (Romans 8:28) but as soon as challenges or hardship arises, we fight to get out. We pray that God removes this from us, not how He can move us through this challenging time.

Let us put off complaining as it did not work for the Israelites then and it will not work for us today. Present your situation before The Lord and ask how can this help to advance His will and Kingdom and the tools (physical or spiritual) that will be needed to thrive in this situation. We do not need to run from challenges when standing with God. With God we can bloom in any situation.

ore all familiar with the story of Jesus feeding the multitudes (Matthew 14:13-21). What these Old Testament stories tell us is that even before the birth of Jesus, God was satisfying the economics needs of the faithful.

However, let us look at the letters of the word depress-i-on and from now only see it as “I-Pressed-On”, because of the grace of God.

Let us discipline ourselves to rise early, gather our manna in accordance with Matthew 6:6. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

We must be intentional about our walk with Jesus. The Lord feeds the birds, but He does not drop the food at their nest. The Lord fed the Israelites, but they had to get up and gather the manna.

With all that life has to offer, all the blessing that have been bestowed upon you and where you are in life. All the accreditations, and titles associated with your name, the only one that counts in the end is, is your name written in the Lambs Book of Life (Revelation 21:27).

Sin will make us needy and comfortable that just like Samson, we will find our head resting on the “knee of sin” that we don’t even realise the hour of our destruction and separating us from God.

Come, join hands with me family and let us pray. Heavenly and most righteous Father, we come before acknowledging that You are Lord of all creation. Father forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lord, we seek to enter through the narrow gate and forsake the broad road and all its sinful desires which will damn our souls for eternity. Lord, help us to live the life of the narrow gate and be counted as one of the few that spend eternity with Y

Step out in faith, trust the Lord who has brought you this far as He never took you here to fail. Live the testimony, inspire others and tell all who will listen not just that God brought you out of Egypt but the challenges He delivered you from on your way to the promised land, Canaan.

Notice that in verse 10, the first requirement is that you are called to be strong in the Lord and power of His might. Weak soldiers are easy targets for the enemy and weak soldiers are ineffective soldiers. However, we have all the tools at our disposal to strengthen ourselves, we are to stand in His might, not our might. We stand of His promises, we stand on His faithfulness, we stand on His word.

Believers, there a people out there that we can impact positively but we need to shine brightly to attract as many people as possible to Christ through our lives.

Unlike the containers in our homes, the Lord does not use or keep us in same use or containers once we cleanse ourselves from the dishonourable things.

Well, what in your life is rotting and releasing rancid smells and how can God receive glory from it

Believers, let us trust in the faithfulness of God to deliver us in our desert experiences but be attentive and obedient as to how He will instruct us to water our soul.

Come, join me in prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, we ask that You give us the courage to fulfil this command and the discernment in choosing who to entertain, in Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

In the earlier part of the chapter, we learnt about the decree that the king signed, the three times that Daniel prayed per day and the plan that was plotted against Daniel. Now, Daniel, learning about the decree did not change his method, his time and did not adjust anything regarding prayer.  This is because he valued his relationship with God and he understood the faithfulness of the God he served.
