Are you ready to meet JesusDwain D. Cox

Blessed morning Family, I greet you in the precious name of our soon coming King.  Today's devotion comes to us from Hebrews 9:27, which reads, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

In life we prepare and have been prepared for many things almost daily. Your parents prepared for your birth, hopefully and all the other milestones of life.  We prepare for school, work, church, marriages and funerals to name a few. However, how many of us prepare for the most important event in our lives, which is meeting Jesus?

Are you ready to die? We might be ready to die physically because we have written our last will and testament, and our affairs are in order. Are you ready to die spiritually? What are the words you want to hear and what have you done to prepare. The most damning thing to hear on judgement day is depart from me for I know you not (Matthew 7:21-23). We hoped to hear well done but did we invest in the finite instead of the infinite.  We pursued the pleasures of life instead of the purpose Christ placed in us.

At that point, who do you blame? Preacher, spouse, grandmother, life challenges or your neglect for the Son of God. Listen family, you don't have to be one of those who will be weeping, wailing and gnashing their teeth (Luke 13:28). Today is the day for salvation. Now is the appointed time to get in line with the will of God and his purpose for your life.

Now, for those of you who have listened and believed the doctrines of demons there will be a rude awakening.  The doctrines of demons are the teachings that claim there is a way to God without Jesus Christ.  You are saying that there are many ways to Jesus.  This is a lie. Jesus Himself says I am the way the truth and the life (John 14:6).

Remember believers to:

·       Watch and pray (Matthew 26:41 (KJV))

·       Like a thief in the night (1 Thessalonians 5:2)

With all that life h

as to offer, all the blessing that have been bestowed upon you and where you are in life. All the accreditations, and titles associated with your name, the only one that counts in the end is, is your name written in the Lambs Book of Life (Revelation 21:27).

Come family let us bend our knees and bow our hearts in prayer. Lord, we acknowledge that Jesus died and raised from the dead, and able to forgive us of our sins. Lord, we commit and recommit our lives to You.  Lord, I ask You that the relatives that I have that are not ready to meet You, that your Holy Spirit will convict them of sin and lead them to the cross that they too will be saved. Lord, I am not without sin, and I ask that You forgive and cleanse me as well, that I too am ready to meet Jesus, who is coming soon and very soon. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen
