Good morning Family, let us give praise to our Lord, and make our ears sensitive to His leading. Today's devotion comes to us from Isaiah 30 verse 21 which reads, Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”.

Global Positioning System (GPS) is a space-based radio-navigation system consisting of a constellation of satellites broadcasting navigation signals and a network of ground stations and satellite control stations used for monitoring and control.(https://www.faa.gov/). Now, it can be said that even before man developed such a system that God already had a global positioning system for mankind as He sat on high from the heavens and directed us in the way we should walk, so the GPS acronym could be used for the believers as God's positioning saints /sinner.

How many times have we heard the voice from the GPS that we use  say “recalculating” It is not much different for us as believers as we fail to walk in the path that God has set out for us and so many times in our lives we go astray , we don't follow the instructions or the directions laid out in the Bible. We choose our own path , fall into sin and veer way off course. Our lives at times have been one big recalculating after another.

Where in your life did you veer off course and what major decision have you taken that was the wrong choice because it did not include God. Some consequences are more serious than others. Some are lifelong and some can just be fleeting . However, there is hope, the Lord is still there waiting with open arms to receive us, the Lord is still there waiting for us to surrender, the Lord is still there waiting to say to us this is the way walk in it.

The path to recovery might not be an easy one based on the situation you find yourself  but the same God that delivered the three Hebrew boys is able to deliver you ( Daniel 3:17). So believers let us first allow God to position our minds to hear and receive His directions. Allow Him to position us in the challenges that we face, and to position us for the future that He has in store for us.

Believers no matter how far off course you have gotten, remember we serve a good God. A God that will leave the 99 to come and look for us, so if you are that far of course then press your amber alert button and cry out to God and He will come for you. He will set you straight and put you on the right path and then say to you, this is the way you walk in it.

Come, join me in prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, we come humbly before you acknowledging that You have the power to direct our lives if we allow You in. Lord, help us to accept that you have the best direction for our lives and we just need You to recalculate and direct us from now on, in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
